Kopari’s Coconut Products Are About To Change Your Life

Hello, it’s me again. I’m sure you’ve noticed that your favorite bloggers have been ditching chemical-heavy health and beauty products for clean & toxin-free ones. Kopari, a brand you’ve definitely seen on your IG feed, has dominated this clean beauty industry and reasonably so. I wanted to try 3 kinds of products: the trendiest, the one I hadn’t heard much about and the one I didn’t know what it was for.

Coconut Deo

I had no idea deodorant had aluminum in it to begin with. After doing a lil research, it turns out that aluminum is what companies use to stop sweaty pits. The coconut in the Coconut Deo has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties that soothe your pits & naturally reduces smell. I also didn’t know this, but there is a detox process your body goes through when switching to a natural deodorant. Your body has spent years being stuffed with tough chemicals and it will freak out a little. The beginning is ROUGH. You are sweaty, you are smelly, you regret everything. STICK IT THROUGH. I’m sure it depends on your body type, but after 2 days I started to smell like a sweet, chemical-free, baby angel.

Coconut Charcoal Toothpaste

I had come across Kopari on social media in the past, but had no idea that the brand extended into oral care. This toothpaste is made of coconut oil, peppermint oil, activated charcoal and a mineral called Hydroxyapatite. Activated Charcoal has been a trend for a while because it does an amazing job at whitening but wow. I’ve used this for 3 days total now and my teeth have gotten so white that I scared myself when I opened my car visor’s mirror this morning. I’ve whitened my teeth professionally, I’ve used whitening strips, I was even convinced by one of the Kardashian/Jenners to buy those LED light whiteners. This has been, by far, the most convenient & not gross-tasting way to whiten my teeth. Three days of use and my teeth are as white as when I professionally whitened them. (if you are my dentist and you are reading this don’t be mad at me, you did a great job)

Coco Oil Pullers

Honestly, I really had no idea what the heck pullers were. I assumed that once I had them, I would figure it out but I was wrong. The little packet said to swish it around in my mouth for 5-15 minutes and fifteen minutes sounded like such a long time that I needed to search why. It turns out, it’s a natural form of mouthwash without the harsh chemicals and alcohol. Listen, Charmers, it was weird. But what was extra weird was the fact that it made my mouth feel so fresh and clean, I actually woke up with good smelling breath. I swear. Ask my roommate.
