The holiday season is finally here and that means a few things: spending lots of money on gifts, uncomfortable political discussions with relatives you see once a year and stuffing your face with food that you’ll regret later. While most of those things are totally out of our control, we know how important it is to slay (or sleigh lol) every holiday gathering and we’re here help you do exactly that. Follow these simple steps for an editorial-ready glossy lid with products you could be receiving in this month’s box.
Using a fluffy blending brush, go in with a warm-toned transition shade on the crease and a little all over the lid. We used the shade “Conscious” from the Suva Beauty Protege Palette in this month’s box, and LUXIE’s 229 Tapered Blending brush in this month’s BoxyLuxe.
Pack a creamy shimmer shade onto the middle of your lid using a flat brush, we used LUXIE’s 213 Eye Shading brush to pick up and pack on the shade “Balance” from the Suva Beauty Protege Palette.
Blend, blend, blend! We used the same LUXIE 229 Tapered Blending brush that we used at the beginning to buff away harsh lines.
Grab a flat edged brush and carry the same transition color you use on your crease onto your lower lash line. We picked up LUXIE’s 221 Flat Definer brush and dipped it in the same “Conscious” shade we used before.
This is the fun part. Dab some gloss onto your finger and place it gently allll over your lid. Tarte’s Tarteist Shimmering Lip Paint in the shade “Strike Gold” goes perfectly with this copper look we have going on because of the little golden shimmer in it.
Grab that same gloss, dab it onto your lips and that is it my friend. You’re done. You’re ready for the red carpet. You’re welcome.
We hope this glossy lid tutorial is a look you’ll try this holiday season. Let us know in the comments below!
